Hybrid Systems

Wind power is also very suitable for incorporation into hybrid systems.  The Renewable Energy Park is an example of a hybrid system.  These offer flexibility because they can provide power even when the wind is not blowing.  Wind-diesel combinations are common, but more recent developments include combinations of wind, photovoltaic units, waste-to-energy, and other renewables. This combination of technologies offers power generation from 100% renewable sources 100% of the time.
